Earn An Endorsement Now
There are many reasons why a particular business might not be able to establish a relationship with an organization that could serve as an endorsing Disabilities At Work (DAW) Registered Agent. Therefore, businesses can contribute to DAW online and earn their endorsement right now.
Disabilities At Work (DAW) was established to acknowledge and reward businesses that have demonstrated support for people with disabilities, as determined by a DAW Registered Agency (a service provider, Business Leadership Network, government agency, or non-profit organization that works with or on behalf of people with disabilities or their families).
Relying on Registered Agent endorsements helps ensure that only businesses that have demonstrated support for people with disabilities are allowed to display the DAW logo and reap subsequent benefits from a concurrent consumer advocacy campaign. Reliance on DAW Registered Agents also serves to increase the number and quality of relationships between businesses and local Registered Agents, which is one of the primary goals of Disabilities At Work.
However, there are many reasons why a particular business might not be able to establish a relationship with an organization that could serve as an endorsing DAW Registered Agent. Those reasons might be as simple as geography (businesses in remote areas may not have access to agency representatives) or as complex as an inability to find qualified job candidates with disabilities.
Therefore, Disabilities At Work offers a second option to businesses that want to display the DAW logo. Businesses can donate directly to Disabilities At Work according to a prescribed contributions schedule and receive in return the same DAW Display Package that Endorsed Businesses receive.
By supporting the Disabilities At Work program and campaign, businesses also support people with disabilities. Purchase a Disabilities At Work Display Package, which includes one DAW plaque (customized with company name, street address and city), six DAW window/door decals, six point-of-contact signs and electronic logo for website mounting. The DAW website is currently working to fully automate the Display Package purchasing process.
